Where silly ideas become magnificent monsters!
Welcome to Monster Factory, a joyful summer art camp for children ages 6–11 where imagination runs wild and there’s no such thing as “too weird.” This camp invites young artists to explore big feelings, bold colors, and playful creativity through monster-themed art projects that are silly, expressive, and emotionally safe.
Throughout the week, campers will sculpt textured monster clay creations, design vibrant monster masks with exaggerated expressions, and invent original characters through monster trading cards—complete with names, powers, and favorite snacks. Folded-paper mix-and-match monster drawings add surprise and laughter, showing kids how unexpected combinations can spark creativity.
At The Hub on Canal, we believe art is a powerful tool for self-expression and confidence-building. Monster Factory creates a supportive, judgment-free space where kids can experiment, take creative risks, and discover that sometimes the most wonderful art comes from embracing the wonderfully weird.
