FOR AGES 14 & UP! Sewing Classes with Miss Elaina

Learn the fundamentals of sewing in this fun and beginner-friendly 3-week class! Students ages 14 to 17 will meet for 2 hours each week to learn essential sewing skills, including machine operation, basic stitches, fabric handling, measuring, cutting, and simple project construction. By the end of the course, participants will have completed beginner projects and gained the confidence to continue exploring the creative world of sewing.

Students will provide their own fabric and matching thread for projects.

Registration & Attendance
All youth program registrations are non-refundable. If your child is unable to attend, the registration fee will be treated as a donation to The Hub on Canal and applied toward future student scholarships.

Eligibility
Students ages 14 -17 and at any experience level. 

Schedule
Class takes place Wednesdays 3:45pm-5:45pm on designated dates.

Early/Late Drop-Off, Pick-Up & Alternate Guardians
Advance notice is required for any early or late drop-off or pick-up. Parents must provide the full names of all individuals authorized to drop off or pick up their child. Anyone other than a parent or guardian must present a valid photo ID at pick-up.

Financial Assistance

Snack Policy
Students should arrive having recently had a snack and bring into class only one water bottle. 

Health Concerns & Allergies
Parents must notify us of any health concerns, including allergies or medical conditions. This information will be kept confidential and shared only with instructors as needed to ensure student safety.
